Maple oats w/ fresh berries

Ingredients

Serves 1-2

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup coconut milk or milk of your choice

1 cup cold water to add as you cook

1 tsp vanilla

1 tbsp maple syrup

1 tsp cinnamon

 

Method

Place oats, coconut milk, cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup in a saucepan over medium to high heat and stir to combine.

Continue to stir consistently, adding the cold water as you go until the oats are cooked and nice and creamy.

Pour the oats into a bowl and top with fresh berries and anything else you desire.
