Nutritional medicine is a field of complementary medicine that focuses on dietary and lifestyle interventions for optimal health outcomes. Clinical nutritionists have an evidence-based, in-depth understanding of the human body, through this understanding nutritional medicine is utilised to provide relief of symptoms and help prevent disease. Yes, absolutely. For any pathology that your GP won’t cover under Medicare, I can write you a private referral. I will assess your symptoms before recommending any testing. Further to standard pathology, I believe that functional testing when used appropriately, provides great insight into what is going on at a deeper level. This allows me to treat and target specific conditions appropriately and successfully. Common functional tests used within the clinic include the SIBO test, complete digestive stool analysis and the HTMA (hair tissue mineral analysis).

This depends on the level of cover that you have as to whether you are eligible for a rebate. Nutrition consultation services come under dietary advice, dietetics or nutrition. Please check with your provider for a definitive answer. My provider number is PN00068U which can be used to cross-check.

This is different for each individual and depends on your reason for coming to see me and your health goals. I usually like to see each client at least 2-3 times within a 2-4 month timeframe initially. If budget is a concern for you, please feel free to email me prior to making an appointment and we can arrange a plan that works for you.

I completely understand that unforeseen events can arise and that you may need to cancel or reschedule last minute, I ask that you please give as much notice as possible and I will do my best to reschedule you at a later date. Please see the cancellation policy below.
Re-scheduling or cancellation to an existing scheduled appointment 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, and non-attendance of a scheduled appointment without notice will strictly incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the appointment fee. The cancellation fee is payable by the client.

Yes, absolutely, my practice is based completely online so I am able to see clients almost anywhere in the world. Unfortunately, my insurance does not cover me to see clients in the US or Canada. You will just need to make sure you consider that your appointment time works for you, I am based in Sydney NSW and all consultations are done within my time zone. If you can not find a time that works for you, please don’t hesitate to email me and I will do my best to accommodate you.
